GREEN AND WHITE WEDDING

Joplin Young Man Takes Webb City Girl as Bride
Fifty Guests Attend
Wedding.

Miss Daphne D. McColloch daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. M. McColloch of West Joplin Street and John N. Davis of Joplin, were married Wednesday night at 8 o'clock at the bride's home. Rev. Dean C. Dutton, pastor of the First M E church, was the officiating clergyman. The bridal party was composed of Miss McColloch, Mr. Davis, Miss Zona Brewer of Carterville, as brides maid, Chas. Redmond of Joplin, best man, Little Miss Helen Wharten of Carthage as flower girl and Miss Nellie Hardesty, played the wedding march.

It was a green and white wedding, smilax, potted palms and ferns, enterwoven with cut flowers formed the decorations and the wedding supper which followed the ceremony was carried out in the color scheme.

The bride was becomingly gowned in a pretty white Paris muslin gown. Miss Brewer wore pale blue crepe de chene, while the gentlemen wore the conventional black.

About fifty guests were present and the presents received by the happy couple were many and handsome, including cut glass, silver ware, china, furniture and linens. Mr. and Mrs. Davis will be at home to their friends at 1405, West Austin street, after Sunday, April 11th.
